Former child wonder Jillian Ward ready to have a love team partner

Jillian Ward catapulted into a career in the ‘biz as an adorable child wonder. At first she was most well known for her character “Trudis Liit” in “Sine Novela” in 2009. She also starred alongside Richard Gutierrez in “Captain Barbell: Ang Pagbabalik” in 2011.

But now that she has reached her teens, the young actress is finally ready to veer away from her kiddie demeanor. Recently, in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Jillian Ward shared that she’s ready to be paired with an on-screen partner.

“Ready naman po na, since part naman po siya ng work. Hangga’t hindi naman po boyfriend-girlfriend, okey lang po kasi work lang naman.”

Asked who she desires to work with in the future, the 13-year-old actress shared that she’s open to work with anyone.

“Kahit sino po basta marunong umarte at sa tingin pa lang may chemistry na kami. Gusto ko din po kasi sa love team, hindi stick-to-one. Para po maraming nae-explore na roles, at mas marami akong matututunan sa mga makakasama ko pagdating sa trabaho.”

Furthermore, Jillian Ward admitted that she prefers to work with someone older than her. One of these is none other than the country’s “Pambansang Bae.”

“Mostly kasi, ang gusto ko makatrabaho, yung mga veterans Pero gusto ko ring makatrabaho si Kuya Alden [Richards]. Matagal na kasi kaming magkakilala ni Kuya Alden, pero nagkakasama kami yung guesting-guesting, hindi talaga sa teleserye. Gusto ko siya makasama sa teleserye. Tsaka siyempre, Kuya Alden Richards is Kuya Alden Richards.”
